Life
I think that I am doing a really good job as a single parent of 2 boys. My boys are turning out to be very good young men. And I am happy with that. in high school.This year is a really great year. My oldest boy will be atending colledge. My younger boy will has one more year in high school.I have a full time job at an amusment park. Knotts Berry Feam. And that is not at all a dudy job. just a little stessfull. Nothing that I can't handle.
I figure it is not as good as work an a ship.
Workplace
Work is good. I work at Knotts Berry Farm. I can tell you this much. My job , there is always something to do. I work on the rides in Camp Snoopy. I open them fand fix them. Yes, I am a Ride Maint. Teck. The only bad thing with the job is that I have to get up at 3am. I learned to live with that. There are 13 ride in Camp Snoopy. They are Woodstocks Airmail, Red Barron, Joe Cools GR8 SK8, Baloon Race, Speedway, Huff n' Puff. Snoopy Bounce, Trucking Co., Ferris Wheel, Log Peller, Lucy's Tugboat, ...Expand for more
Camp Bus and Timberline Twister. I have a partner that takes half. Thank goodness that this is a team effert. or the rides would not be open on time.But there are times when I do have all of the rides. I could do it. It is all on time manegment.
Military
Life in the Navy was great. I loved it. The places, the people and the great times. My time on the USS Shandoah AD-44 was short.I was in R-3. But that is ok. The people that I had meet that were good friends. And on shore duty, that was also a joy. I got to work with alot of Marines. (WOW). But nothing was as great as it was on the USS Yellowstone AD-41. That was the best time of my life. I have to say that I do miss that ship. I had worked in Deck Dept. Those BM's were out there. I mean that in a very good way.That is alright. They had also thought that the EM's like me were out there also. It was a very sad day that day that tha Yellowstone was decomed. To live those days agen would be great. We all know we can't go back to those times.
